On Friday he put twenty-five lines on the board and called it Term Three. It is his second term. Call it whatever you want. The country asked for a border, a tax code that does not punish work, girls’ sports that are for girls, and a government that stops pretending boys are a protected class. He did those things. The rest of the card is the argument about how much credit a president gets when the tape rips and the other side screams.

Here is the list.

The Twenty-Five

  1. The border. Sixteen months without the conveyor belt. Catch-and-release is dead. That was the collapse under the last crowd — encounters, releases, hotels, flights. He shut the valve. “Zero admitted” is his phrase. The crossings falling off a cliff is the fact. If you lived a border county, you do not need a footnote.
  2. Laken Riley Act. Named for a girl who should be alive. Illegal aliens charged with theft and violence get detained. A statute with teeth is not a moment of silence.
  3. Murder. He claims the largest drop on record, lowest since 1900. Violent crime has been falling hard on his watch. The last administration lectured about root causes while the cities burned the stats. Falling bodies are an accomplishment even if a demographer wants a longer sample.
  4. The tax bill. No tax on tips, overtime, Social Security. The 2017 rates locked in instead of walking off a cliff. That is money in a waitress’s pocket and a welder’s. Call it the Big Beautiful Bill or call it the only middle-class cut anybody has passed in a decade.
  5. Investment pledges — $19.2 trillion. Pledges are not smokestacks. Some will vanish. The direction is capital voting with its feet after four years of being told to build in the wrong country.
  6. Tariffs on copper, aluminum, steel, and foreign cars. That is how you stop being the sucker at the table. Canada already taxed our stuff. He answered. Detroit did not ask for a lecture on comparative advantage. It asked for a plant.
  7. Eighty record stock market closes since the election. Markets are not a personality cult. They also do not rip like that when the last crowd is in charge of energy and the border.
  8. More Americans working than ever. Population grows. So does a payroll when factories are allowed to exist. Private-sector jobs and factory construction are the part that is not a rounding error.
  9. A trillion into the force this year, more next if Congress does not blink. You do not fight a missile war with a green memo. He funded the arsenal. That is what a commander-in-chief is for.
  10. Maduro. Operation Absolute Resolve. A narco-dictator in American cuffs instead of a palace. If you think that is easy, name the last president who tried.
  11. Iran’s enrichment. Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury. He said obliterated. He said never. The sites that mattered got hit. The war is not a parade. A nuclear weapons program in the rubble is still a win the last White House would have traded for a photo in Vienna.
  12. Cartels and fentanyl — he says down 60 percent. Boats, bombs, indictments. Fentanyl was the quiet massacre of the last decade. Treating the cartels like enemy forces instead of a counseling issue is the shift.
  13. Drug prices. Deals that show up at the pharmacy. Seniors do not care which lawyer signed the term sheet.
  14. Drilling on. Climate priesthood off. Alaska and the Gulf are not symbols. They are barrels. Energy abundance is how you tell Peking to sit down.
  15. The EV mandate, buried. Nobody elected a commissar to force a three-row electric on a family that tows a boat. He killed the rule. That is popular because it is sane.
  16. Exports pointed at $2.5 trillion. Trade that is not a suicide pact. Path, not trophy. Still better than lecturing manufacturers about their carbon feelings.
  17. DEI out of the federal government. The racial spoils system lost its letterhead. Corporate America can keep the posters. The taxpayer does not have to pay for them.
  18. Men out of women’s sports. A girl should not lose a medal to a midfielder who used to be named Jason. He drew the line.
  19. The gender cult and race theory out of the schools as far as federal leverage goes. Parents noticed. Teachers’ lounges will need a new religion.
  20. A thousand dollars tax-free for every newborn — Trump Accounts. A stake, not a lecture. Compound interest is more honest than a climate pledge.
  21. Eight wars toward quiet, Gaza on the list. Frameworks and ceasefires are messy. Hostages going home is not messy. The alternative was another decade of managed failure.
  22. The living hostages returned. The dead accounted for. That line is for the families. Leave it alone.
  23. Refugee pipeline closed, including the pipelines nobody in a safe suburb wanted to talk about. Asylum was a back door. He shut it.
  24. Guard in Washington, Memphis, New Orleans. When local politicians treat carjacking as weather, you send men with rifles. The sidewalks improved. That is the metric.
  25. English as the official language. One country, one public language. Not hate. Maintenance.

What Belongs Next to the Card

He could have added the number of people leaving, not just the ones who stopped arriving. Millions gone, negative net migration — that is the reversal of the Biden surge, and it is larger than a slogan about sixteen months.

He could have added the judges. Lifetime seats outlast a midterm commercial. He is filling them.

He could have added the fraud hunt — COVID loot, fake PPP, the island shells that wash terror money. That is money stolen from the same workers who pay the tariff.

He left the pump off the card. Production is up. The gallon is still a fight. Own the drilling. Finish the gallon.

Iran is a win on the enrichment fight and a cost on the casualty list. Both things are true. Putting only the mushroom-cloud headline on line 11 is campaigning. Putting the Guard and the girls and the border next to it is governing.

The Point

The last crowd opened the border, lectured about pronouns, and called the murder spike a mystery. He closed the border, signed the tax cut, took the men out of the girls’ locker room, hit the nuclear sites, and put a dictator on a plane to a courthouse. That is not a personality. That is a record.

“Term Three” is branding. The twenty-five lines are the job he was hired to do. The midterms will decide whether the country wants the sequel or the relapse. If you needed a list, he gave you one. The parts that matter already showed up in the real world — at the river, at the pharmacy, at the school board, and on a runway with cuffs.
